This is a new neutral card, whose announcements will depend on the other cards it is associated with during the consultation. But since there are far more positive cards within this Oracle, it is often much more beneficial than unfavourable to the querent. In any case, it is a bringer of news, whether good or bad. It refers to exchanges and communications between several people, to new encounters, but also to announcements made by people outside the querent’s intimate life, such as a doctor or a government official. It is generally a card that makes situations that tended to stagnate move forward.

The Message card depicts the face of an Egyptian Pharaoh seen from the front. He embodies the symbolic messenger between the Gods and human beings, as conceived in Egyptian mythology. Beneath his profile, several hieroglyphs are engraved on a black tablet, reminding us how closely life on earth is bound to the Divine. Then on each side stand torches raised towards the heavens, whose flames light the passage that leads every messenger towards high spirituality. Finally, it is indeed a sealed envelope, as well as a calligraphed letter, that indicate this card is more concretely linked to the sending and receiving of news, which must be revealed or, on the contrary, kept secret. The Message card is connected with the astrological signs of Capricorn and Aquarius, but also with the number 39, which in numerology evokes spiritual illumination.

During a divinatory reading, the Message card therefore gives the querent a good number of answers on just about every area touching their life. Its announcements are generally awaited by the latter, as they can fill a void to make a situation move forward. Beware of negative cards such as Nadir, Ordeal, Weapon, Misfortune and Death, for they will colour the news with a dark and negative side.
