Meaning of the Root in the Oracle of the Triad

Card No. 6

This card speaks to us primarily of family, in the broadest possible sense. Of our loved ones with whom we share a common past, but also of the family values and traditions we share with them. Without clinging to old stories, and therefore with no negativity whatsoever, it plunges us back into the exploration of our past and leads us straight to our roots, the very ones that watched us be born and grow. The Root card does not hesitate to also herald situations in which the querent might need the help of their clan. Material, financial or quite simply emotional support, which will render them a great service at the moment they need it most.

Within the Oracle of the Triad, which is filled with symbols linked to Greek mythology, but also to numerology, astrology and the very secretive Freemasonry, the Root card expresses itself through the number 6, the month of June, and a few Kabbalistic notions. It depicts an upside-down tree, whose powerful roots are nourished by a solar circle, and whose green foliage faces the earth. Superimposed onto the Sephirotic tree, it becomes the tree of life, and the tips of its branches provide us with the teachings of the Kabbalah.

During a divinatory reading, the Root card will offer many revelations about the future to the querent, and that in every area of life. As its sole point of reference, its predictions will always be based on family ties, whether close or more distant. Note that, combined with the Isolation card, it will signify a distancing from the family circle. Combined with the Wealth card, it will speak of an inheritance. Finally, combined with the Misfortune card, it will reveal to us the imminent passing of a member of our family.

❤️ The Root card in Love ❤️

You are in a relationship

You are living a fairly simple relationship, in which the love you share with your partner is truly real. You never expose yourselves too much to the glare of social evenings, and prefer to stay together in the warmth of your cosy nest. You are therefore enough for yourselves, just as your parents were 30 years earlier. Be careful, however, not to try too hard to reproduce their love life.

You are single

You are a person attached to family values. A little too much, even, since this has several times been the cause of the breakup of your romantic adventures. So make sure not to mix everything up the next time your heart beats hard for someone else.

🧠 The Root card in Work and Finances 🧠

Nothing to complain about, since everything is going in the best of all possible worlds for you professionally speaking. Financially too, even if you often show a certain stinginess, despite the fact that members of your family helped you in the past to build your business. So stop saving for a while, and enjoy yourself a little more with those around you.

🧘 The Root card in Well-being and Spirituality 🧘

You are a very loyal person and are very attached to family values. But perhaps you are somewhat old-fashioned in the eyes of some, and it would be good for you to open your mind a little to other philosophies of life and activities. Just so you can cut a few of the roots that hold you down to the earth.
