This is a highly spiritual card which, if listened to attentively by the person concerned by the reading, will be positive in the announcements it brings. But for that, the querent will have some work to do on themselves, because as this cerebral arcana predicts, one must go back to the source to serenely reach the supreme liberation of the Soul, at the right moment. The card therefore tells them that nothing they wish for is impossible, but that they must first take a precise stock of their current situation, listening inwardly in order to probe the deepest part of their Soul.

The Soul card uses a powerful symbol from Egyptian mythology to convey the image of a soul flying towards its heavenly destiny, after leaving its human envelope. Indeed, it is the winged solar disc, shining with a thousand fires, that represents the latter, while lower on the card a miniature golden disc represents God, as perceived by humankind. Moreover, the wings of the solar disc are raised towards the celestial cosmos and thus invite us to embrace the idea that the soul, once one has raised one’s spiritual point of view to the highest, is ready to meet the Eternal, before resting within the infinite. This card, more cerebral than many others, is linked to the astrological signs of Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. It is also associated with the number 48, which in numerology evokes Holiness within the cosmos.

During a divinatory reading, the announcements made by the Soul card are somewhat more complex to understand, which is why they must be carefully analysed in order to better grasp them. This requires great open-mindedness, and the acceptance of the fact that our soul as well as our inner self may possess far more strength than we would have dared imagine a short while earlier. Thus, the card leads us towards a series of generally very favourable events, but ones that will require psychological and spiritual work based on our intuition, sensitivity, affinity, aspiration and concentration.
