Meaning of the Woman in the Oracle of the Triad

Complementary to the Man card, the Woman card has roughly the same functions and meanings as the former. It too, without being truly neutral, is neither positive nor negative in the revelations it brings to the querent’s attention. We can only say that it may be influenced by some of the 56 other cards of this Oracle. What is certain, however, is that it always announces the presence of a woman by their side, and that this woman will have a certain role to play in the coming days of their destiny, and that in any of the areas concerning them.

The Woman card is therefore the missing half of the Man card. Indeed, we find the same drawing depicting a half-face in close-up, but it is clearly a woman’s features that have replaced the more masculine ones seen in card No.14. She too has a shaved head, as if to show her relationship of submission to God, but this time the triangle symbolising the Divinity according to Freemasonic laws is blue, which reminds us of water, and therefore of the bringing into the world of a child by a woman. While the masculine triangle pointed upward, this one is oriented downward on the card, as if to express a certain feminine passivity. Furthermore, this card is associated with the astrological signs of Leo and Virgo, and linked to the number 25, which is the embodiment of an entire life within the universe, in numerology.

During a divinatory reading, the Woman card therefore announces to the querent one or several events to come, where the intervention of a woman will be ever-present. Whether it concerns a romantic, family, friendly, financial or professional matter, it is this woman who will tip the event favourably or not for the querent. Cards such as Isolation or Fusion will be decisive in influencing the Woman card.
