Indeed, the Wisdom card generally foresees a harmonious period that will flow like the water of a tranquil river. It also tells us that all our many past efforts are about to be rewarded, and that we will therefore finally be able to enjoy a little peace of mind since everything seems to have fallen back into place. If it nonetheless urges us to stay on our guard, it is because caution helps us remain in tune with reality, and because anything can always be improved even further. Yet already Wisdom is leading us towards stability, which is a great step towards serenity.
While the Oracle of the Triad is renowned for drawing on Greek mythology in the depiction of its cards, it can be said that the Wisdom card stands apart. Indeed, the latter is under total Egyptian influence, but this should surprise no one since Queen Cleopatra was herself of Greek origin. The Wisdom card therefore depicts the two famous Eyes of Horus, the Egyptian falcon god, which very quickly became the symbols of light and knowledge in ancient Egypt. Just above and between them lies a bright white dot, embodying the third eye, linked to all intuitive clairvoyance and to spiritual awakening.
During a divinatory reading, the Wisdom card therefore brings total comfort, announcing fullness and harmony within our lives for the days and weeks to come. Several combinations with other cards may occur, but the predictions will always remain positive for the querent. Without being truly a lucky card, it nonetheless brings a great deal of benevolence to him or her.
