In love, for everything to unfold in the best of all worlds and without a single false note, the 2 partners must be in tune. Thus, love is received, is given and is shared by 2, no other alternative is conceivable. In the case where one of the 2 lovers invests far less within a relationship, a crack appears and it could quickly become a chasm where all the troubles in the world would come to nest, thus tearing apart the couple through sheer tension.
