Introduction to the Belline Oracle
The Belline Oracle Love
Even though there are many reasons to consult a clairvoyant, the ones that always rank above average deal with matters of money, health, work and, of course, love.
In cartomancy and tarot reading, which are the divinatory arts able to predict a person’s future through the cards, there are many spreads concerning love.

And the Belline Oracle is certainly the tarot deck best suited to this topic, thanks to all its connections with astrology. Indeed, much like a horoscope, the Belline Oracle love reading will give us the best possible answers so we can live our love lives more serenely.
The origins of the Belline Oracle

Like all other divinatory Oracles, the Belline Oracle is a tarot card deck, freely inspired by the famous Tarot of Marseille. It was Mademoiselle Lenormand, the most renowned clairvoyant in early 19th-century Paris, who took a deep interest in it, to the point of dissecting it in its smallest details. And it must be said that the Tarot of Marseille holds a great many such details, among the most esoteric.

With its 78 cards divided into 22 major arcana and 56 minor ones, it is a very complete divinatory card deck that still enjoys immense success worldwide today. This success is due above all to the characters and somewhat ambiguous, subjective figures printed on each of its cards and that tell us about the initiatory journey of a lifetime, taking into account the character traits of human nature.

It is this kabbalistic and esoteric side that most fascinated Mademoiselle Lenormand, as it did all other tarot-reading clairvoyants, but she felt that the Tarot of Marseille lacked a more astrological touch, along with an even finer psychology. That is when she set her mind on creating a new tarot card deck that would fill the gaps she had spotted in the Marseille one. Rather than rivalling it, she wished instead to make it a complement to it.
So she set to work and devised the framework of this Oracle that would therefore be under the influence of the planets of our solar system. She also drew the sketches of each of its many cards, with the help and complicity of her best disciple, Charles-Ernest Billaudot, nicknamed the mage Edmond. Unfortunately, as Mademoiselle Lenormand fell gravely ill, it was he who took care of fully completing this new tarot. But his activities as a clairvoyant for famous figures such as Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo or Napoleon III prevented him from seeing this new project through to the end, and the many documents relating to it ended up at the bottom of a trunk, tucked away in his attic.

There they remained for nearly a century. Then, by chance or coincidence, it was in 1950 that an unsuccessful clairvoyant found the trunk and got his hands on the documents written by the mage Edmond and Mademoiselle Lenormand. The man named Marcel Forget, known as Belline, was to delve into them with great interest and even rework the design of this new tarot to his own taste, to make it a little more modern. Then, very proud of his additions, he decided to market it under the name of the Belline Oracle, with the success we know today.
The composition of the Belline Oracle
Enclosed in a black and gold box, the Belline Oracle is made up of 53 cards. They all have a great deal to say during a divinatory reading, especially the 4 major cards of the set, which are the only ones not under astrological influence.

First we find the Blue card, which is the card of hope and of positive light.
Then there is the Destiny card which, in the shape of a Key, is synonymous with openness and opportunities to seize.

Finally, among these major cards, we find that of the Star of the Man, which represents all that is masculine and the Star of the Woman, which will speak of the feminine that lies dormant within each of us.
Then we come to the 49 other cards, which are divided into 7 families of 7 cards each. These families or suits all bear the name of a planet of our solar system, and are therefore inevitably greatly influenced by astrology as it is used in horoscopes.

- The Sun family speaks to us of ambitions and inspirations when we are in full swing on a project. In a reading, it is the family of fulfilment.
- The Moon family embodies our day-to-day sensitivity; it reveals the emotional and spiritual side that lies within each of us.
- The Mercury family, which is the family of communication and of exchanges with those around us.
- The Venus family, which represents harmony in our love life and within family life in general.
- The Mars family, which always urges us to push as far as possible to break free from problematic situations.
- The Jupiter family, which guarantees the optimism and positive side inherent in any situation, even those that may be more complicated than others.
- The Saturn family, which tells us that we are going to face a few obstacles in order to reach our goals.
A free reading carried out with the Belline Oracle love
Today there are free clairvoyance consultations available on the internet. These online readings can be just as effective at giving you predictions about the future, even though it is true that an in-person consultation is always more fitting, owing to the unique atmosphere that can arise there.

As for the Belline Oracle love divinatory reading, it can be performed in several ways, such as a cross spread or, more simply, a yes-no reading that is perfectly suited to answering one single and unique question asked by the querent.

If the Belline Oracle is more able to satisfy someone wishing to obtain answers about the state of their love life, it is because it is the tarot most focused on a person’s feelings and desires, owing to its connection with the esoteric realm of astrology. Some also say it is because it was conceived by a feminine mind, namely Mademoiselle Lenormand.

While it is true that love is generally more open-hearted on the feminine side, a man too can ask himself many questions about his single life or his relationship, and perhaps even more so. A Belline Oracle love reading is therefore made for both sexes, and let us not forget that it contains the Star of the Woman card, certainly, but also that of the Star of the Man.
So, whether you are a hardened single person searching for the long-awaited soulmate, in a relationship that has been a little tense lately, in a love triangle that could lead to a breakup or simply happy in love but just curious about the future of your relationship, all these reasons are valid and justified for having the cards of the Belline Oracle drawn. Their interpretation will help you get past key turning points and, above all, rediscover genuine feelings of love.
