Free Oracle of the Triad Reading

In the 1990s, we experienced a turbulent end of the 20^th century in which predictions about possible ends of the world piled up. Whether they came from the ancestral culture of the Mayan Indians, from the visionary astronomer Nostradamus or from somewhat enlightened public figures, these fatalistic predictions alarmed populations as much as they amused them…

We also noticed that, after a somewhat fallow period, the world of fortune-telling once again intrigued curious minds and that new generations took a strong interest in it. It is therefore easy to understand how young tarot readers, passionate from their earliest years about the esoteric universe, could embark on designing new tarot decks and Oracles. Such is the case of Gérard Barbier, who marketed his Oracle de Gé with the success we know, but also of a certain Dominike Duplaa, to whom we owe the famous Oracle of the Triad.

Unlike Gérard Barbier, who gave many interviews to promote his works and his Oracle, Dominike Duplaa remained almost invisible, and we know very little about this young enthusiast of cartomancy and, more particularly, of tarot reading.

It is a choice worthy of respect. The fact remains that he is a great professional in the divinatory art of foretelling a querent’s future through the interpretation of the cards. So it was he too who, in the mid-1990s, set about designing his own Oracle which he would name the Oracle of the Triad.

We all know the expression « How do you make something new out of something old? » and young Dominike Duplaa would apply it to the letter when he set about designing his own Oracle. He would indeed draw inspiration from the world of the famous and ancestral Tarot of Marseille and Oracle of Belline decks, but bring them up to date with more modern graphics and symbolism, for everything that made the past success of tarot reading is found in the Oracle of the Triad.

Besides its strongly kabbalistic and esoteric leanings, this new Oracle is also imbued with ancestral religions, freemasonry, astrology, numerology and alchemy.

But he added to it a strong dose of spirituality in order to transcend the human spirit undertaking the initiatory journey offered by its cards.

The latter number 57 and are made of symbols and analogies that lead to a progression of life unprecedented in a tarot deck. From the first card named Alpha, to the 57^th called Omega, the meanings are numerous and greatly call upon our intuition to interpret them.

It should nonetheless be noted that their understanding is made easier by the name given to each of the cards and by graphics and designs in warm colours that offer us certain landmarks during a reading. To be able to get started with The Oracle of the Triad as easily as possible, its designer published a book in which he explains all its secrets. Easily found in specialist bookshops or on retail sites such as Amazon, this highly instructive book complements the deck of cards.

Pyramid reading of the Oracle of the Triad

This is an exemplary first reading for a querent to gain access to predictions about their future.

First of all, you will need to shuffle your cards as well as possible, so that they are well mixed together and not under the influence of a previous reading.

Then your querent will draw 10 cards from the deck, which you will lay flat on the table in the shape of a pyramid.

• The first of these drawn cards will go right at the top to form the apex. It is the one that will influence the reading in a positive or negative way. It is also the card of spirituality.
• Just below, you will place the second and third card, which will embody the querent’s unconsciousness.
• Then below, you will find cards no. 4, 5, and 6. They will represent the querent’s choices of action but also obstacles that may arise at any moment.
• Finally, the base of this pyramid will consist of cards no. 7, 8, 9 and 10. It is these last cards that will inform us about the querent’s future through their interpretations.

Triangle reading of the Oracle of the Triad

This reading is a little simpler to perform and is therefore recommended for beginners wishing to try their hand at an Oracle of the Triad reading. It is also very practical for answering a main question and thus recalls the famous yes-no readings found with other card decks.

Here, you will need to draw only 4 cards.

• The first will be placed at the top of the triangle,
• the second at the bottom left,
• the third at the bottom right
• and the fourth at the bottom and in the middle.

Once your triangle is formed, you will then turn over the cards in the order of their placement, and be able to begin reading them.

During their interpretation, the 1^st will be the synthesis card of the reading; it will amplify what the other 3 say.

The second will be a kind of guide for the querent; it is a sign of actions to come.

The 3^rd gives the answer to the question of the latter.

As for the 4^th, it provides further details concerning that same answer.

Calculating time with the Oracle of the Triad

This reading will enable you to give a future date for a very specific event. It is very effective and quite unique in the world of tarot reading.

It therefore allows you to assess the length of time that separates you from an event, but also to answer your question « When will it happen? ».

This will be possible thanks to the number that is inscribed on each of the cards of this Oracle.

For example:

Card no. 1 named Alpha represents January, the first month of the year or the start of winter. It will help you if you wish to obtain an answer regarding a date due to occur in your destiny or that of your querent.

On the other hand, to estimate a length of time to wait for the event to occur, card no. 1 will speak to you of 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 1 year.

It is obvious, however, that this will only apply with the first 12 cards of the Oracle.  

Meaning of the 57 cards of the Triad Tarot
