Meaning of Seth in the Egyptian Tarot
Card No. 16
It is the most negative card one could find within the Egyptian Tarot. And this for the simple reason that it embodies evil, hatred and treachery. It therefore represents Seth, the God of evil, of thunder and of storms, who stands out with his donkey’s head.
According to Egyptian mythology, Seth sowed evil wherever he passed and is said to have murdered his own brother Osiris out of vanity and jealousy. The Seth card can therefore be likened to the spirit of the evil one, and it announces nothing but chaos and wickedness when it appears during a divinatory reading. Unless one sees it associate with positive cards, which would then soften its baleful side.

❤️ The Seth Card in Love ❤️
You are in a relationship
If the Seth card comes up during your reading and you are in a relationship, it will be a sign that there is going to be a storm brewing between you and your partner. Unless this situation of romantic conflict is already under way, you will have to prepare yourself for it, for it will breed a great deal of hatred and violence.
It is unfortunately the feelings of jealousy and anger that are going to unfold within your union, and slander and other insults will fly low within your home. You will therefore have to keep your cool, while waiting for the storm to pass so as to make the best decisions for the future of your union.
You are single
If the Seth card were to fall into your hands during a consultation and you are still in a state of singlehood, it would announce to you nothing but a future fleeting encounter. But so much the better for you, for you will regret having succumbed to this person’s charms after only a few hours, so deceitful, greedy and sometimes even violent will they prove to be.
🧠 The Seth Card in Work 🧠
At work, you are going to go through a rather hellish situation for a while, which we hope will be as short as possible for you. Indeed, the Seth card will announce to you nothing but betrayals, unfounded rumours, misplaced jealousies, swindles and other situations of conflict that could lead to a certain violence.
In any case, someone is going to try to harm you and will use every means within their reach to achieve their ends. So stay on your guard.
🧘 Spiritual Interpretation of the Seth Card 🧘
Spirituality and the moral sense do not mean much to Seth, since he lives in a world made of perversion and betrayal. For him, the means of reaching his desires and power matter little, and his unwholesome mind makes him recoil before no treachery, including that of savage murder.
On the card, he is depicted against a blood-red coloured background, which informs us of his feelings of hatred and fury. At his sides, one glimpses 4 bolts of lightning which, for their part, symbolise the seizing of power, violent and illegitimate.
