Ask a closed question

The golden rule when you want to ask the tarot a question is to always make a closed request. Do not ask an open question that leaves doubt or a choice in the answer.

For example, do not ask : « Will I end up with Jean or Pierre ? »

Ask only one question

Along the same lines, do not ask several questions in one. With each reading, only one question may be asked, otherwise the tarot will get its wires crossed…

For example, do not ask : « Will I end up with Jean ?  Or Pierre ? And when will I be in a relationship ? »

Always ask a positive question

Just like the law of attraction, the cards do not like it when we ask negative questions. You can get around the problem by asking what the blockages are that are preventing you from reaching a situation.

For example, do not ask : « Why am I not in a relationship ? »

Ask instead : « What are the blockages in my love life at the moment ? »

Ask short questions

It is better to do several readings in a row than to ask one long, drawn-out question. The tarot likes requests to be clear. Focus on one single request at a time

For example, do not ask : « Why am I not in a relationship, when I like Jean, but also Paul, and Pierre a little, because time feels long and I would like to be with someone ?  »

Do not ask questions about timing !

In clairvoyance, time is very uncertain. It is difficult in tarot readings to give a precise date for predictions to come true.

You have your free will. You are the master of your life, just like the people around you. That is why certain events take more or less time to happen

There is, however, an alternative for assessing your question over time. Instead of asking WHEN, phrase your question by giving a time frame

For example, do not ask « When will I find love ? » but ask « Will I find love within the next 3 months ? »

Proceed area by area

If you do not really know which question to ask, you can try the general question but target a particular theme.

For example, you can ask :

« How will my love life develop over the next 3 months ? »

You then bring in a notion of time and of area that frames your otherwise general question.

Asking the tarot a question must be simple and crystal clear. Do not be too scattered, prefer asking one single question at a time, even if it means doing several readings. The tarot is your adviser, it needs clear questions to guide you properly.
