Meaning of Liberation in the Angel Tarot

Major Arcana No. 13

This is the tarot card that most strongly evokes the spiritual transition taking place within each of us, after a moment of forced reflection. It follows the card of Awakening and allows the dreamer to carry on along his initiatory journey. The Liberation Card depicts a young woman standing  upright in the middle of a clearing surrounded by thick, hundred-year-old trees. Her arms are wide open, as if she were ready to welcome the dreamer so as to better guide him in his destiny.

The two large wings she carries on her back are lit up by a dazzling light, reminding us that she herself is associated with the archangel Azrael. At her feet sits a scattering of white mushrooms, reminiscent of a gathering of disciples. During a divinatory reading, the Liberation Card is often a harbinger that it is high time for the querent to move on to something else. It makes him realize that various recent experiences have enlightened him about what he wishes, or does not wish, to experience next. It is therefore the card associated with a few changes.

❤️ The Liberation Card in Love ❤️

You are in a relationship

It is not a very good sign for the Liberation Card to appear in your reading if you are in a committed relationship. But you must already have felt a few signs of weariness within your union, and thinking about freeing yourself from it is not really a surprise to you. For, deep down inside, your desires for emancipation on your own keep surging up without your being able to hold them back, and you can no longer ignore the situations experienced during your relationship that imprison you and prevent you from fully fulfilling your destiny.

You are single

As someone whose romantic loneliness has been weighing on you for quite some time now, the Liberation Card announces that you have dwelt on the matter long enough. It thus reveals to you that it is finally time to stop tormenting yourself and to focus instead on your own evolution, carefully nurtured during these long months of single life. Gone are the days of tears and other laments; long live the time of your coming romantic transition.

🧠 The Liberation Card at Work 🧠

The Liberation Card will also have consequences in the professional field. Indeed, it will announce that you need to make certain changes, especially regarding your circle, which you will have to renew in order to increase the potential of your company or your team.

🧘 Spiritual Interpretation, the Liberation Card 🧘

It is therefore the card of choices made to gain saving freedom. These fully owned choices are the result of a more or less lengthy careful reflection and lead to a true transition of a spiritual nature. Indeed, being able to choose what we truly want in the years to come already means owning what we do not want and, above all, getting rid of what we no longer wish for.
