Card No. 1

This is the card that sets us on the path of our spiritual journey. It is also the one that allows us to accept ourselves just as we are, after deep soul-searching within our innermost being. It urges us to understand that we are unique, and that our soul and physical body are an integral part of the vastness of the universe. It makes us aware of what the miracle of life on earth is, and that we stand at the very beginning of the sacredness of our own existence.

The Existence card shows a person with hair as long as it is black, without our really knowing whether it is a woman or a man, since the figure is seen from behind, sitting on a lotus leaf. This character is alone with their consciousness, in the middle of the vastness of the interstellar cosmos, where countless stars shine brightly. They seem to be in a state of absolute serenity, the kind we can enjoy after a long meditation.

In a divinatory reading, the Existence card always brings us face to face with a renewal. It urges us to draw on all the abilities and resources at our disposal and put them to the best possible use in carrying out a task ahead or in preparing a project. It also announces that the cosmic forces are on our side, provided we are at least somewhat open to them.

The Existence card always brings you back to a certain independence. Not that it predicts any negative event to come within your love relationship, but simply that you feel the need to be alone with yourself, face to face with who you are, from time to time.

In this case, it is quite possible that you overindulge your need to be alone in order to meditate, and that this ends up harming your relationships with others.
