The wagon, or Rotaro in the Romanian Gypsy tongue, is also the benevolent spirit that leads the group towards the safest destinations. It is therefore far more than a vehicle used to get about: it is truly a sacred mythology that keeps evil spirits and negative energies away from the road the Gypsies travel.

This tells us that nature is powerful, while all around him the sky is blue, to make us understand that this man is as free as the wind and that he has his whole life ahead of him.
